Mrs. Ragsdale was a member of The Kansas City Missouri Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated. In 2022, Mrs. Ragsdale's line sisters initiated this scholarship to be awarded at the chapter's annual Cotillion presentation in her honor. Her family, friends and supporting Sorors have joined the fundraising effort to honor this outstanding educator by presenting an education scholarship in her name.
